In the Middle East, the Group counts with 153 properties and 45,875 rooms across six markets, comprised of Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In the United Arab Emirates, Accor operates 76 properties (24,129 rooms) including the recently opened Movenpick Dubai Jumeirah Village Triangle, Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island Ras Al Khaimah and Ibis Styles Dubai Deira. Accor has eleven properties in its pipeline for the UAE which includes Mercure Dubai Deira and the introduction of the Mantis brand into the Middle Eastern Market with Mantis Jebel Jais Ras Al Khaimah.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to be a central focus for the Group, with a footprint of 42 properties (16,000 rooms) and a robust pipeline of 34 properties which will add 7,000 rooms to the portfolio by 2027. Properties expected to arrive in the Kingdom in 2023 include the much-anticipated Raffles Jeddah, Fairmont Ramla Serviced Residences Riyadh, Sofitel Riyadh, Movenpick Waad Al Shamal-Turaif and Novotel Makkah Thakher City Residences.
